But before I became the go-to travel pro for modern couples, I was a destination bride myself. We were able to spend an entire week of quality time with so many of our loved ones, and it was such an amazing experience – one that we never could have achieved with a local wedding.
But the experience came with more than a little stress – even though I hired a “travel agent.” Working with her left me feeling like it was less about what I wanted and more about what everyone else does.
I knew couples deserved better. They deserved to feel heard. They deserved to have options.
Well, I’ve been a problem-solver all my life, so I did what I always do:

In 2015, I founded Alpaca Your Bags Travel to help couples celebrate life's biggest moments – with customized travel experiences and the kind of personal, travel-bestie touch that I had missed out on.
